This last 3 weeks, we have been learning about Africa and Alaska in order to write an information text.
Lexie was so inspired that she did some D&T work at home to represent Africa and Alaska.
Our topic this term is rivers and bridges. This week we started to explore how to build bridges, but only using paper, paper-clips, masking tape and string! We learnt a lot about construction, and had a lot of fun. We then discussed some of the world’s most famous bridges, and how they are made, while looking at pictures of them.
We celebrated our wonderful writing today as we completed our setting descriptions from Charlie and the Chocolate Factory! Delightful work Dolphins well done!
We had some amazing hats in class today for World Book Day! The winning hat in our class was Charlotte… well done Charlotte! Can you guess the book?
